Maintenance Employee
This position is hired to help assist the maintenance workers
in their daily jobs. This job consists of any of the following: cutting
grass, trimming, painting, repairing, trail upkeep, fence installation,
cleaning and general maintenance.
Boat Attendant
A person qualified for this job must be able to: work well with
the public, assist boat renters into and out of boats, work with minimal
supervision, and run a cash register. This position requires the
applicant to be 16 years of age or older, and able to work weekends.
Gardener
This seasonal position is part time. The gardener provides
park wide maintenance of all landscaping of buildings and grounds.
An individual must demonstrate practical landscape gardening experience
and knowledge of nursery, greenhouse and bedding plants.
Program Assistant
This position consist of assisting in the organization and running
of all types of programs and several special events. This position
also performs some clerical duties such as letter writing and poster making.
Other duties include assisting the Special Events Coordinator with
public relations and volunteer related operations.
Seasonal Ranger
This position involves extensive public relations. Foot
patrol will be performed especially within areas heavily visited by the
public. Several duties that may be performed include: checking pavilions,
collecting pavilion rental surveys, serving the public, and being available
to answer questions.
